    Tested and cleaned up, with a compliance certificate when the job needs one.

Before we get there

What to do in the first few minutes.

  • Burst pipe

    Turn off the water at the meter. It is usually near the front boundary, under a small lid. Then call us.

  • Smell gas

    Don't use switches, flames or phones near the smell. Open doors and windows, turn off the gas at the meter if it's safe, go outside and call your gas distributor's emergency line (on your gas bill), then us.

  • Overflowing toilet

    Turn off the small tap on the wall behind the toilet, and keep flushing to a minimum until we arrive.

  • No hot water

    For gas, check the pilot light is on. For electric, check the hot water switch at the switchboard hasn't tripped. If neither helps, call us.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

Yes, to come and look. If you go ahead with the job, it comes off the total. If you decide not to, the call-out fee is all you pay.

Can you come today?

Often, yes. Call in the morning for the best chance. Burst pipes and gas leaks get priority, any time.

Are you licensed?

Yes. We are licensed plumbers and gasfitters, and you get a compliance certificate for any work that needs one.

Do you work on weekends?

Saturdays from 7am to 6pm for everyday jobs, and any time for burst pipes and gas leaks.

Which suburbs do you cover?

Box Hill and Melbourne's east, from Doncaster and Templestowe down to Burwood East, and out to Ringwood. If you're not sure, ask.
